With the gradual improvement of living standards, more and more people are paying attention to health maintenance and the rationality of their diet structure. Many weight-loss patients, malnourished patients, diabetics, cancer and chronic disease patients, and some healthy populations want to know their body conditions.
The body composition analyzer machine uses the principle of bioelectrical impedance for non-invasive and accurate analysis of the tested person's current bone muscle mass, body fat content, visceral fat situation, muscle balance, basal metabolic rate, edema level, etc. The obtained composition analysis results can help nutritionists provide more reasonable, scientific and effective daily dietary and exercise guidance based on individual patient conditions.
A body composition analyzer machine is a device or machine used to measure various aspects of the human body composition, such as body fat percentage, lean muscle mass, bone density, and total body water. This information can be used to monitor and track changes in a person's health status over time. There are several types of body composition analyzer machines, including bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA), and hydrostatic weighing.
The body composition analyzer machine is suitable for obese people who need to lose weight, diabetics, chronic kidney disease patients, hemodialysis patients, elderly muscle loss and rehabilitation patients, cancer patients, surgical patients, chronic disease patients, liver disease patients, women during childbirth, children, etc.
The following populations are not suitable for body composition analyzer detection:
During menstruation, women's body water will increase, so measurement should not be taken.
Patients with pacemakers and metal stents should not be tested because the current may interfere with them.
Limb amputees cannot be tested because they cannot contact the electrodes normally.
Before testing
Ensure that you have not eaten, drank a lot of fluids, emptied your bladder and bowels, or sweated profusely for 2 hours before testing.
It is not suitable for immediate measurement after exercise.
The patient cannot carry metal items such as mobile phones, keys, necklaces, rings, and watches.
During the test
The tester should remain calm, quiet and not speak.
The body should not move randomly.
The arms should not touch the torso.
Maintain the measurement posture for about 3 minutes to avoid affecting the accurate measurement results of the body composition analyzer machine.
